Our Mission
We provide our space for 12 step recovery meetings such as AA, NA, OA, SA, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness groups located in Carbondale, CO serving the Roaring Fork Valley from Aspen and Basalt to Glenwood Springs, Newcastle, Rifle, and the Parachute Corridor. We also provide virtual offerings for individuals outside of our service area.

Our Mission
Founded in 2005, The Meeting Place has been a safe place for individuals struggling with addiction. Completely peer-run, TMP is an incredible example of community in action. In 2010, TMP was incorporated as a non-profit, and, in 2024, hired our first Executive Director. TMP houses 30 meetings weekly and supports the recovery of approximately 500 unique individuals weekly.

The Meeting Place is supported by the community and ran by the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. Our team is dedicated to the growth and expansion of TMP using outreach to spread the word of recovery throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond. Please see the "Meet Our Team" page!
